This premium grade 4 Vermiculite is a heat expanded product which has a very high water retention. It is often used as soil conditioner, or for covering seed raising mixes. Vermiculite holds too much water to be used as a medium on its own, be sure to mix it with other growing mediums to improve air/water ratio.
