The Aquaponic Farm Kits come in two different packages. Single (Kit 1), Double (Kit 2) . Each unit includes a 550L Fish Tank. These garden beds can be configured depending on your space. Each package comes with everything you need*, and comes in a range of different colours. Please request your colour option on purchase in notes. 
 
We offer extension kits in case you'd like to add more garden beds later.
Note, the 550L Tanks should be limited to two garden beds, unless you request additional beds by which we are able to customise the flow rates to the tank.

What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a combination of aquaculture, which is growing fish and other aquatic animals, and hydroponics which is growing plants without soil. Aquaponics uses these two methods in a symbiotic ecosystem in which plants are fed the waste. In return, the plants clean the water that circulates back to the fish.
 
Microbes play an important role in the nutrition of plants. These beneficial bacteria gather in the spaces between the roots of the plant and convert the fish waste into nutrients the plants can use to grow!
 
By combining fishkeeping and hydroponic gardening, this aquaponics kit does things that neither can do alone, dramatically reducing waste and maintenance. It circulates the water from your tank through the garden bed, and recycles fish waste to provide vital nutrients for growing plants which leaves the water clean.
