The Nutriculture Origin System, formerly known as the Wilma Hydroponic System, is a recirculating drip-feed hydroponic system designed for growers who want the familiarity of growing in pots with the benefits of automated feeding.
The Origin / Wilma system uses a timer-controlled drip irrigation method to deliver nutrient solution directly to each pot. Runoff drains back into the reservoir, ready for the next feed cycle. This makes it a practical option for growers wanting more control over watering, feeding and nutrient delivery without hand-watering every day.
Best suited for growers who want an automated hydroponic system that still uses individual pots, making it easier to manage plants, repot when needed and control feeding cycles with less manual watering.
This system is suitable for growers transitioning from soil into hydroponics because plants are still grown in individual pots, while the automated feeding introduces the benefits of hydroponic irrigation. It can be used with a range of growing media, although clay pebbles are recommended for simple operation, strong drainage and improved root aeration.
By feeding little and often, the Origin / Wilma hydroponic system helps maintain consistent moisture and nutrient availability while reducing the risk of overwatering compared with manual feeding.
